Spicing Up Your Inground Pool

You've already got it made this summer if you have an in ground pool. You're keeping cool, calm and relaxed, while working on your tan...and your fitness. But aren't there a few more cool features you could be adding to really spice up your summer oasis?

One thing you can do for your pool project is to add a solar energy heater. Adding a heater to your pool can add weeks, if not months on to your pool season, and making is solar powered will save you tons of money, and potentially even send back some energy to your local grid, which will earn you money!

Adding a detached hot tub would really add a level of relaxation for those cool summer nights and intimate get togethers. If this is a little out of your budget, stop by your local pool store to look into some stair spa converters. These simply to attach to the spiggets in your pool stairs, adding jet-like powerful bubbles that can help your muscles and add some fun. Pair this with your solar heater, and you have your own spa!

If you're the working out type, look into the pool treadmill. A small device, the pool treadmill hooks into your pool, causing a current in which you swim against. You're able to do laps forever without breaking up your stroke with flipturns, and the added resistance works a lot of valuable muscles.
